K-Jöfol Audio Player

K-Jofol 2000 K-Jöfol was a pretty popular audio player in its heyday, around 1999-2000.

One reason it became so popular is that it was the first real player supporting VQF - the players offered by Yamaha and NTT were not very useful, lacking a decent interface and basic features like playlists and equalizer.

It was also the only player that supported the infamous Astrid AAC codec through a plugin provided by the author. This time, it isn't encrypted with PElock - but with ASpack instead...

It was developed by Christophe Thibault up to version 0.51. He was working on version 2000 when he got hired to work for Nullsoft - makers of Winamp -, putting development permanently on hold.
